Q) What is your process like to really make sure the brand you are creating really matches the company/person? Do you have questions you ask all your clients? Or is it more of a discussion to get to the core of what they stand for?
A) Wow! What an excellent question! When it comes to our Brand Design & Development clients (our fully custom work), we have developed a very through (and yet fun, obviously;) process we take people through that helps our client sift through all of the questions and all of the “junk” to show us who they are at their core.
While it is our job to pull their brand together visually, we believe strongly that it is NOT our job to tell our clients what their brand is. Its a very client centered system. While the system is self is very much so tailored to each client (some come to us with loads of passion and not a clue where to start with their brand, and others barely touch our curriculum and instead we spend our sessions doing more advanced brand strategy work), we do have a set system and at least a few pieces of information we need from each client. Regardless of the extent to which a client utilizes our actual brand development curriculum, its always, always about getting to the core of who they are and what they stand for. So, to summarize: thorough, yes, and yes!
